OK Ladies...
I'm curious to know if everyone has silly nicknames for their little ones like me!

So- 'fess up! What do you call your darling baby?

Toren get's 'Little Guy', 'Mugwump', 'Baby Bean' and 'Big Boy' from Daddy- and 'Schnoofy', 'Snarfle-Fish', 'Bug-a-Boo', (or just 'bug') and 'Snuggle Bear' from me. (to name only a few..


and just for the record-
Harmony was 'Little Bear', 'Harmonious Funk Rythm', 'Monka-Funk' or just 'Monkey'....Christopher was 'Little Boots', 'Boots' 'Buddha Belly' or 'Bean'....And Rosie was 'Boo-boo Bean', 'Bootsalinda', 'Soli' and 'Punky Monkey'.
I'm big on nicknames. My cat's all have nicknames too!

this is a funny idea for a thread!

ds's name is wolfgang, so we call him wolfie. but for us & our friends & family he has morphed into:
wolf (well, duh)
wolfpack
wolfenstein

mamala

pearl will have to live with:
foxy (to pair with wolfie, and for a *brief* moment, we considered using this as her real name)
oven (in utero nickname)

baby sista (that's wolfie's contribution)

Oh, I LOVE the name Wolfgang! We almost named Toren that- but chose Toren Wolf instead. (Toren means Chief- so we also call him 'Leader of the Pack' sometimes! I love love love your nicknames! Do you mind if I steal some of your wolfie ones for Toren?

Oh god, I'm a little ashamed. Both my kids are known as "stinker", "stinkapotamous" "Stink bug"... I don't know why they get nicknames like these, (they really aren't that stinky!) but I have to catch myself and keep from saying them around the inlaws, since they think it is tantimount to abuse.

Alice is also known as "Cricket", where as Ella is my "Bear". If I accidentally call Alice "little bear" Ella gets sooooo angry. Poor girl.

We are not overly creative with our nicknames (which is why Eliot's stuffed animals are: kitty, mama horse, baby horse, etc)

Eliot is:
E-Dog
E -man
Smelliot

Simon is Frenchie which is what eliot named him in utero and he still insists that he looks way more like a Frenchie than a Simon. I call him Frenchie all the time too and the stocking I cross stitched for him has Frenchie on it, I think he'll be stuck with it for awhile.
