Today is ds2's birthday!! I can't believe that he's getting so big! But OTOH, I can't believe that only two years ago, *he* was the freshling snuffling at my breast exactly as his little sister is doing now!
And now he's a big gorgeous boy, full of energy and fantastic ideas, who runs full-tilt from point A to point B, leading with his head the whole way and just daring his feet to keep up! He adores trains (Thomas is a special favorite) and he can spot an airplane in the sky when it's still just the tiniest speck, invisible to most of us. He has a shoe fetish, and quite often clomps around wearing one shoe each belonging to his big brother and his big sister! He also loves to wear his big sister's stretchy headbands--the more the better!
He is headstrong, intense, and so very sweet and snuggly....if you can catch him! He is, and always will be, my Sweetie Muffin (speaking of nicknames
