Seapearls sponge tampons?

Anyone with an experience with this product? You can now buy it in us as well. Our local co-op has it. Was wondering how it would be as I am still using disposable pads. Havent made the switch to cloth pads( heavy flow) and never used a tampon so dont know how it would be to use a diva cup.

Do you see this product to be effective?

I've used them. They were effective in a certain way, but if I left them in for a little too long they would leak... not in the way that other products do, because they only let out the more 'watery' parts of one's flow. So less messy, but still a bit awkward.

If I had heavy flow I could see using them in conjunction with cloth pads, I think that would work well.

Eventually I forgot that you aren't supposed to boil them, and they shrank.
