unvaccinated and daycare??!!?!!

I've moved back to Sweden to study at the University, and I will have to put my 21 month old son in some kind of daycare for 2-3 days a week. He's very social so I hope that he'll like it, at least most of the time. I've been deadset against daycare for a while, but I just need to get out of the house and do something meaningful. His dad is here too but he will have classes in Swedish every day, all day.
So, my big dilemma is, my son is not vaccinated, and I am not intending to do it either. I'm scared though that he might contract something in the daycare, because diseases are more prevalent there. Is there anyone who has an unvaccinated child in daycare without worrying too much? Or is it just a crazy, suicidal idea to put an unvaccinated child in daycare? Now, since I'm living in Sweden, my situation is probably a little different. Vaccinations aren't even mandatory here anymore, but I'm sure there are some of you out there who live in less risky areas in USA.
Also, is there anything I can do to minimize the risks, or is vaccinating the only answer? I just don't want to, partially because he's somewhat an allergic person.

My dd is in preschool(part of a daycare) and she is unvaccinated.I really don't worry about it.Your child will likely get plenty of diseases that are not vaccinated for anyway,and you just prime them to deal with it well.My dd was exposed to Hand,foot,mouth there and a week later had a sore throat,fever,and one blister on her hand.Mild hfm or something else? I don't know. I do tell her each day to make sure she washes A LOT and to never touch her face with her hands since some kids are not as clean as her and are often *digging for gold* if you know what I mean, lol.

Concentrate on making her healthy with good foods/supp's and hopefully they don't feed the kids a lot of junk foods there like they do here in the US centers which will depress the immune system. Gotta go ds is yanking on me Enjoy school.

I have had unvaxed kids in daycare, even with whooping cough going around... the vaxed kids all got it! mine didn't!!!

We give Cod liver oil (vitamin A), vitamin c. Good healthy diets. She doesn't drink milk and we limit pastas, bread.

my unvaccinated son is in daycare two mornings a week, and we haven't had any problems.. as a matter of fact, i find that when he does get sick, he is better much faster than the vaccinated kids that get antibiotics shoved down their throats for everything. Seeing how we try to let the fever take its course and offer echinacea and herbal supplements when he is sick, nevermind the amount of antibiotics and medicines avoided so as not to compromise his immune system, he is ahead of the game.
