just wondering.

i don't know if there is one, SPECIFICALLY, but yes, there is a correlation between increased allergy risk and formula feeding. for a host of reasons, actually.

One of the most recent references, from the latest issue of Pediatrics: "There is evidence that breastfeeding for at least 4 months, compared with feeding formula made with intact cow milk protein, prevents or delays the occurrence of atopic dermatitis, cow milk allergy, and wheezing in early childhood."

HOwever, if you google it, it has been previously shown in some (not all) studies that consumption of peanuts/treenuts during pg and BFing can increase a child's likelihood of allergies, so not one I'd pass off on formula completely. That said, yes, there are several studies like the one posted above.
