Today was a great day.
3 1/2 hours at work, read for fifteen minutes in my car, and also bought Indian food from the Indian market I found, therefore avoiding my craving to spend $2 on a small cup of tea when a HUGE box of tea bags costs $3. And lunch was $2.
I finished a silly romance novel, which means FINALLY stuff can go back to the library.
I piled all the cardboard into the biggest box, and DH has promised to recycle it tomorrow.
I weeded out baby clothes that I didn't LOVE. She has more than enough that are GORGEOUS. DH has also promised to drop stuff at Goodwill, which will keep me FAR FAR FAR away from the lure of STUFF.
I made the futon bed, folded the throw blankets that were in every room of the house (even the bathroom) and put away ALL of baby's toys.
I put the books back on the shelves in our bedroom, after I rummaged through a few days ago to list books on paperbackswap.
I made dinner instead of going out for InNOut, which meant no soda, and I learned to make Naan!
I painted a wooden 'Welcome' plaque.
I cleaned off the desk and sorted the desk hutch.
I organized my sewing assembly line so that I can rid myself of the weight and stress of so many unfinished projects.
I did not scream any of the FIVE TIMES baby girl bit my nipple, and I did not get angry when she grabbed/clawed my face and breasts to exercise her newfound mobility.

I appreciated every moment with my baby.

I feel amazing. Thank you so much for this thread!!!!
