I know that means you're doing too much, but I really don't think I am. I will go all day without a drop and then wake up in the morning to a flood of bright red and stomach cramps. This has happened almost every night for over a week now.
Usually I have lochia for 4-6 weeks after the birth and for the first few weeks it looks like a slaughterhouse in my bathroom. This time it was like a day 3 period flow from the beginning and completely gone after a week except for this nighttime thing.
I went to see the OB last week and he didn't actually examine me but seemed unworried about it.
I had a VBAC and the placenta came out easily. The doctor waited instead of pulling on the cord and it came out easily when I pushed.
My husband has been off work so the most strenuous thing I have done is taking the baby to church or doctor's appointments. I haven't done housekeeping, laundry, or stairs. I did pick up my 30lb 3-year-old twice for only a few seconds.
