Wooden animals... plans?

Anyone ever try this? I'm debating buying the plans, some wood and a small hand scroll saw

Unless you want to build the boat, I don't think I'd spend $6 on plans for those animals. Really all you need to do is draw an animal, glue the picture to your wood with some spray adhesive or just trace it, and cut it. I think using a hand saw would be very difficult unless you're using a really soft wood, which isn't ideal for toys.

i may end up wanting the boat - regardless if i use it for animals or not.

unfortunatly i a can not draw (animals, people, etc)... which is why i really really want plans i can just trace.

thanks though for the links - some of those ideas and animals weer great!!
