Hey everyone, since it's a new year I thought we should have a new thread, and maybe we'll get to meet some new friends

We meet in the roswell area, generally on friday mornings but sometimes we mix it up! When the weather is nice we like to meet at Roswell Area Park and Sweet Apple Park, they have great playgrounds. On the cold or rainy days we sometimes meet at Monkey Joe's or at the soft play area at North Point Mall.

I had fun at the park today and am looking forward to a great year of playgroups! :

Soooo. This is not park weather! What do we want to do tomorrow?

I'm meeting a friend in Roswell tomorrow morning to go thrifting, so I'm up for K's house or wherever afterwards (should be done around 11:30)...

Lisa (leelee) and I keep saying we want to meet up with you guys one of these days! We keep trying to get a bigger group going over here on our side, but it just doesn't seem to be happening. I'll have to see if she's busy over the next couple of weeks, and hopefully we can get something set up. We've both only lived here for a little over a year, so we really need to meet some more people.

I really need to join you guys, since we are looking for something to do on Fridays. Whats the plan for tomorrow? We might be interested.

Well- I am more than happy to host! But may I suggest, since Christine cannot join us tomorrow and Christine can never do Monkey Joe's: we go to Monkey Joe's! Lula was really, really wanting to go today, but Marcos fell asleep and foiled our plans.

What does everybody say? 11:30-12 at MJ's? They have pizza, which I imagine is what I'll be feeding mine for lunch.

If anybody new is coming (please do!!): so you can spot me, I will commit right now to wearing a blue longsleeved shirt and jeans!

New to Roswell/East Cobb

Hi, I'm Judi and I moved to Roswell in October from NY. I have 2 boys, Connor 3yrs old and Max, 4 months. I've been making my way around the neighborhood playgrounds and would love to meet other moms. Let me know where you will all be next. :-)

I am trying to figure out pricing info. Is it $5 for one 2yo and no charge for the parent?

Not sure at this point if we can make it, as we are kinda on a spending freeze, but its also a bit late for us, as E takes her naps around 1ish. But still considering it anyway.

I think E and I might join you. I guess she is old enough to jump? She's 2.5, and I've never taken her.. poor 3rd child! We'll probably eat before we get there. Gretchen and Jenn know me, but E will be dressed in a pink shirt and brown skirt. I'm not sure what I am wearing yet (but I'm really big w/ brown hair)!

Yay! now that all the holidays are over we can start meeting regular again! I wish I could join you guys today, but i have the pleasure of meeting up with dh's family here in CO who we havent see since 2001..... I should be back and recovered by next fri though! maybe it will be nice out!

on another topic, anyones dc have eczema? i think dd just developed this, maybe as a reaction to something in my diet? she was doing well with this lotion my cousin gave me (arbonne baby lotion) but she has been awake a lot tonight/last night (its only 5am here...) and shes all flared up skinwise....i kina have a plan but wanted to see if you mamas know anything i dont!

yeah, I think it's $5 for Elly and you're free, Jenn...okay, I just checked the pricing and this will be my last Monkey Joe's trip when they're not offering a discount--it's going to cost my kids $23 to get in! eek! off to look for a coupon!
