Smelly situation

ok this could be one of the weirdest questions and if it doesn't belong here please move it.

We went on vacation for 2 weeks and upon returning, we discovered that I forgot to flush the toilet in our upstairs bathroom after going pee while dh was in the shower. Now the whole room smells bad! Like an outhouse. I cleaned the toilet but that didn't help.

It's like the smells soaked into the wall.

Any ideas on how to get the smell out? It's been almost a week since we got back and no change.

Dh swears that smells do soak into the walls!

My vet used to sell an enzyme cleaner made to clean up pet urine, maybe something like that would work to wipe down the walls and cabinets?

I think he is right! That is a good idea. I will check at our store to see if they carry something like that. I also read on another thread that putting a bowl of vinegar can help get rid of smoke smell so maybe urine smell too??

We typically go by if it’s brown flush it down, if it’s yellow let it mellow but 2 weeks was a little long to mellow and I am so mad at myself for forgetting to flush before leaving.
