Ovulation/Conception Question

If you have sex the day your temp rises (you take the temp in the morning and try to conceive later that day) it would be too late to conceive that month... Right? Or can you still conceive that day?

I thought once your temp rises it means the body is producing progesterine so it's too late.

Taking Charge Of Your Fertility recommends having sex that day, actually. The reasons are thus:

You could have a multiple ovulation (two or more eggs can be released in a cycle, but always within a 24 hour period).
The egg could still be alive even after a single ovulation (if it occurred within the previous 12 hours).

She says the chances aren't good, but that it's still worth trying, particularly that morning. Hope that helps.

That helps... I already conceived but we had two possible conception dates. I was hoping I could rule one out but it sounds like it was a possibility.
