A few menstrual cup questions

Is it ok to use for light flow, even spotting? My AF is very light, but is also still regulating after returning postpartum.

Can you feel it when it's in? Or should it not be noticeable?

I'm planning on ordering the Mooncup UK based on feedback on previous threads.

I used to use mine exclusively, even on light days, with no problems. (I use cloth more now)

The only time I can feel my cup or notice it at all is when it isn't in properly. When that happens, I just take it out and try again. I've been using my cup for months and I still seem to have a short learning curve every month

In my experience, using a cup during light flow is one of the best advantages of a cup over tampons or pads because it doesn't feel all dry and cause friction on insertion or removal if there isn't much flow. I liked that I could insert the cup even on days when I suspect there might be flow, but there is likely almost none.

Can you feel it when it is in? Well, yes and no. You feel a fullness where the cup is inside, but you can't really feel the cup in an uncomfortable way.

I used my for both heavy and light days. Sometimes on the last day of my period when it's uber light, I'll just use a mamacloth panytliner. I think it works great all the time but there is a learning curve so be patient. I don't feel it if it's in there right. I love my DivaCup!

I looooove my MooncupUK!

I have used it at both the heaviest and the lightest times and it works great. What I usually do though is use it for the first couple of heavy days and then switch to mama cloth.

I don't really notice it most of the time unless it is in wrong.

I agree that it's best for light days -- if your alternative is a tampon. I also agree that the learning curve is there. I'm on about 2 years and think it's the greatest.
