Does any one have a sub to Journal for Women's Health?

I received a subscription invitation in the mail yesterday. I'm wondering if anyone else has one and finds it worthwhile?

If you don't, or decided it wasn't worth it, is there something similar that you subscribe too (besides MT)?

Thanks!

I have an institutional subscription (work at a university) and actually just submitted an article to that journal. That said, it's pretty broad in its topics - everything from pregnancy and birth to bone health to obesity. If you're interested in women's health in general, it's not a bad journal - it's reasonably high quality peer-reviewed research etc. I guess for me it would depend on the subscription price - if it were $50 or less per year I'd probably consider subscribing, but if it were mover $75/year I'd probably pass.

Can you look at a sample issue - or at least the table of contents from some previous issues - online? If you can't le tme know and I'll post a sample TOC for you to see. That should give you a better idea of whether it addresses topics that interest you.

Thanks for your feedback!

The reason I'm considering it is that the sub price is quite reduced - $50 - and I AM quite interested in keeping up on general women's issues.

I think they do offer a review issue but I have to check the paperwork.

Thanks again!
