Lesbian is generally considered to describe a woman attracted to other women. There are huge amounts of space in that definition, though. Some consider it to mean women-born-women only, some consider it women-identified-women, etc.
Queer means...well, ask anyone who identifies as queer and the answer changes.

Generally, it could be summed up as "not straight and/or cisgender* and/or monogamous."
*Cisgender means "not transgender." The latin prefix "cis" means "same," the prefix "trans" means "across" or "through." </gender theory nerd moment>
