Need new carpet for upstairs - green carpets?

I am going to eventually put wood all downstairs except for kitchen and bathroom and laundry room which currently have tile and we will just change to a newer tile.

Upstairs I need to do carpeting as I do not have the budget to do wood throught the 2400 sq feet of home I have. Is there anything decent when it comes to carpets or am I going to be doomed into a mess of VOCS.

I think FLOR is pretty good, although some of their models may have flame retardant. They make some pure wool ones and they are all very low VOC (I've gotten them and they have no new carpet smell!). There may be better options out there, but they are better than most rugs I think.
