PPD anyone? - Page 2

Does anyone still have their placenta? I dried and encapsulated mine and if I don't take it every day, I come close to losing it.

No placenta here. We had it in the freezer out back and my parents wouldn't open the freezer while it was in there. They were running out of room for their food in the main freezer, so we got rid of it.

But I've been taking around 9,000mg of fish oil again (had to stop it during pregnancy because it made my stomach hurt) and it has helped tremendously. I feel somewhat human again!

Yea, there is no way I could eat it raw - I wanted to, but couldn't stomach it. But in pill form its easy to take.

Who prepared yours? My dh thinks its grosser than I do...LOL...I have heard you can pay people to prepare them. I need to find one of those people.

If it comes to me in pill form, I may be able to do it.

I wonder how long the pills last? (If there are any preservatives in them that can help them last longer?)

One of my midwives did it, but we were planning on doing it ourselves if she hadn't offered. I think they last for a long time, you just keep them in your fridge or freezer.

Just out of curiosity, how many tsp. or tbsp. is 9000mg? Mine is labeled on the bottle in ml. I'm taking 3 tbsp. of mine a day and I have no idea how many mg that is.

I take mine, dh dried & encapsulated it... it was so easy. With all the herbs & stuff I'm taking for milk production I forget to take it as often as I should.
