Interfacing..yes, thank you. I plan on using interfacing for the same areas as you and maybe the handle. But my prob. is that I don't have the fabric for it yet. I don't even have anyone to make it for. But it's such a cute idea I want to make one. LOL. Have you started or decided about the flip flop pillow?

Btw, patterns make me nervous too. I shy away from things with patterns, but I figured the pillow would be easy and it pretty much was. I have a grocery store shopping cart cover pattern and fabric just waiting to be made, but it intimidates me as I've looked thru it and just tried to understand it in my head and don't really. But I have found that if I just get started and take them step by step I can usually figure it out.

Let me know if you get started on the folio.

Thanks again for the tutes!I made my gal two pairs of summer short pants!I know it's a little early but I wanted to give it a try.I think I'll make her some warm ones now.

I still haven't decided which present to make.I have until Sunday,when I have plans to go to the thrift store and Joanns.I guess I would have to buy a pattern for the pants since I don't have any of hers to copy.

This weekend I intend to work on making myself some cloth wipes, also starting an applique block of the month, and sew a quilt top that my mom worked on before she became too ill.

I want to work on making myself some cloth headbands/wraps this weekend but need to fiqure out how to do it. Anyone have any ideas?

There's the ever popular Starleigh headband sew-a-long here. (The sew-a-long menu is on the far right). Very easy project!

I just finished sewing up three sock monkeys. I have one more to make but my hands need a break from all that handsewing! I need to make DH some more boxers, DD needs a wallet and matching change purse for her birthday money and I'd like to make myself a warm skirt or two.
