I think it's my turn!

Well, I am 41 weeks today. Last night I began to lose my mucous plug, and it was pink-tinged. I had a friend, who did not know I lost my mucous plug, call me and tell me that I'd be in labor shortly before midnight. At 11:53, I had a light, but real contraction! WOW!!

So I had contractions all night, and was able to sleep thru most of it. I finally got out of bed at 5 because of the usual discomforts of pregnancy. DD got up with me, and I've been continuting with widely spaced contractions.

I've been fuddling around this morning with doing last-minute laundry, and I need to eat something but don't feel like eating. I told DH that he's not going to work today and to sleep as long as he can. I emailed the birth team last night, and I have a scheduled prenatal at 12:30 today. Hopefully labor will be full on by then!

I'll try to post updates - we shall see... I'm so very excited!
