The adoption process has officially started!!! The petition has officially be filed with the Lancaster Co Courts. We are only waiting for a court date

We had the lawyer and a social work intern, just tagging along, over to the house yesterday. We had lunch and signed the papers and they did a quick walk through to assess the house for the home study! It went well. I have been stressing about the home study and the lawyer just calmed my nerves.
Our lawyer, Katie, from Equality Advocates of PA (formally gay and lesbian center) is great! I am so thankful for the opportunity to work with them.
