My DH is going to be the DJ at our elementary school's carnival "dance room" for the 5th and 6th graders. We were going to send a note around to those students and ask them what songs they like but the principal won't let us because she says that the music they want isn't anything she would allow to be played. (This doesn't make any sense to me but whatever.)
Anyway, I asked one of my friend's 7th graders and he gave us a few suggestions but some of them we can't use due to various reasons.
Our DD is in 4th grade and her musical taste is pretty much Hannah Montana & Radio Disney so I need to find out some other popular (and tasteful) dance music for 5th and 6th graders.
Anyone have any suggestions?? Either specific songs or artists?
