I am hoping it is just some lame story-line temporary thing.

The reason people like Spiderman is *because* he is boring...well the most normal anyways.

21 years just gone?!?!??!

This reminds me of that weird Dallas thing "It was all a dream" (yes I was very small during that my grandfather watched Dallas )

Hmm. No, I think I like it. They made the right decision. Peter is more interesting as the stumbling, unsure nerd, tailing after her. It restores the sexual tension.

Still, wow! Just- gone!

huh. i thought the OP might be about their LOUSY customer service : I've been trying to give my brother a digital gift sub since before Christmas & it won't go through & they don't answer emails. So, BOO Marvel on another account!

Ok, carry on :

I don't read the comic, but I think it's a good idea -- and you KNOW that they will eventually remember everything. It will just take a few years. And therefore the romance will return.

Those who know Spider-Man only from Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst in the movies might be surprised to learn that in the comic book, the web-spinning hero has been married for almost 21 years.

That's why the comic world is in an uproar over Marvel Comics' decision to undo the marriage of Peter Parker and red-haired bombshell Mary Jane Watson, reversing two decades of storytelling.

Ya know, Spiderman is unique in that he *is* just a boring normal guy. Poor Peter Parker.
