Baby bottle in Ranger Rick magazine

Hi, If anyone gets Ranger Rick magazine, the most recent issue included a blurb about how a dog adopted a kitten and started nursing it. This was nice, but they used an illustration of a baby bottle to accompany it. I just wrote an email to complain about this-- [e-mail]. Please join me if you so desire.

Well, while different species have certainly nursed from the breast, I could understand the dog using a bottle on a kitten . I'd have to see it to know if it was really pushing bottles...

I'll write in to them. I'm quite surprised: I remember an issue of Ranger Rick sometime in the last year that actually had a photo of a breastfeeding human mama.

As an update, the editor responded to my email very nicely and said they'd do better next time-- she has alerted the other editors and art designers.
