From now on I'll refer to them as said!!!!
I get so aggrivated watching these shows. I haven't seen "The Business of Being Born" yet, but wouldn't it be nice if Ricki Lake would do a show called "A Natural Birth Story" or " Bringing Home a Breastfed baby"?
They would be sponsored by the businesses you see in the back of Mothering. The birth pool would be advertised along with organic cotton nursing pads and a stack of cloth diapers would be on the changing table. I could go on and on Oh, well. We'll just keep dreaming I guess

My 14 year old sister watches BHB all the time.

The last timeI was over she said, "How come you and all of your friends can breastfeed so easily? I've never seen one episode of this show where the mother doesn't have a ton of problems."

Lol, it sounds like she's expecting a knock at the door and a delivery person...."Here's your milk!" It's sad that ppl are that ignorant. But it still makes me chuckle.

They had one where the mom was an OBGYN- but she wasn't used to being around babies!!! She had this huge plan to breastfeed and cloth diaper- and both got thrown out the window "Too Yucky"!!!!! How horrible. To think I watched that show before I had kids, like it was the gospel- now it's just discusting!
I saw that one..she had an elective csection also.
