wash your face with? How about moisturizer?

I'm looking for some gentle on the earth, healthy products (oh and animal/people free)

Thanks!

The options are endless!

I use honey to wash my face, and rinse it off with a warm washcloth (to exfoliate). You can also mix plain yogurt with it, finely ground oatmeal, or egg white too.

For moisture, I use Pure Simplicity Oat moisturizer from Bath and Body Works, but it's now discontinued. I also use aloe vera and hazelnut oil when I don't have that.

i use honey to wash. once a week, i mix the honey with baking soda to exfoliate. after washing, i use coconut oil to moisturize. i've been doing this for about a year and i think my skin looks better than it used to.

I "wash" by coating my face in apricot kernel oil, then wiping / exfoliating w/ a warm, damp washcloth. In the winter, I'll dab a bit more oil on damp skin to moisturize, but in the summer, I don't need any.

I wash with water at night and moisturize with coconut oil. In the morning I sometimes use dove soap if I have any mascara lingering.

About 2 weeks ago I started using nothing but honey to wash my face, and my face looks and feels really good. I use b.s. on my hair, so every few days I will also scrub my face with a little b.s., but the honey alone has been awesome.

I use Aveeno soap for the rest of me.

Thank you everyone! I love the honey idea. Does the coconut oil go bad?

The coconut oil doesn't have a chance to go bad. I cook with it and moisturize with it so I use a lot! It turns solid at room temp though. I leave mine in a glass container at the top of my medicine cabinet and the heat from the lights liquifies it

To wash my face I use Dr. Bronner's almond soap diluted with water - equal parts. I put it in a foam soap bottle and just squirt out what's needed. For toner I use apple cider vinegar and water and to moisturize I use shea butter at night and in the morning I use a light moisturizer with an SPF. I tried honey and loved it for a while but I have really dry skin and it dried out my skin even more.

I wash with honey every morning. I have "combination" skin; if my nose or forehead is very oily I wash just that area with Dr. Bronner's soap. About once a week, whenever I have time and my pores are looking clogged, I use the wonder cleaner!

Sometimes I need moisturizer around my eyes and, in the winter, on my cheeks. I use Kiss My Face aloe & alpha-hydroxy. It's all-natural and a good value for the money--I think I've had the same bottle for 3 years!

Thank you for this I think I will buy myself a bottle this weekend, as long it is gluten freeze. I really need a moisturizer.
