how much silk to make a play canopy?

HI,
I want to sew a silk play canopy for the girls. How much silk will I need?
I plan on ordering from Dharma.
I have some cute flowers and ribbons to decorate.

Are you thinking about making a fairy bower or a large playsilk to go over a playstand?

If you are going to make a bower, I would suggest getting about 3 of the 108x45 5mm silks. This would save you steps b/c they are pre-hemmed.

I use these for my large playsilks.
