My new mantra is just do the best you can. I've realized that no matter what people love to criticize other people's parenting. I am also using 'sposies even though I have a bunch of cloth diapers. I fully intend to use the CD however we also got a ton of sposies when the baby was born-they are easy to use especially when you are super behind on laundry. It does not help that our laundry room is in the basement-and with my c-section scar, I still get a little sore going up and down stairs.

I will CD soon-however the other problem is that we don't have NB covers-I figured size small would fit over NB diapers-but DS has a scrawny butt....

Some of the small covers I have are working already, so you might want to try that out before buying NB ones, Expectantmami.

I used sposies at the beginning, too. There were some we couldn't return to the store, and they dumped a bunch on us at the hospital. I still have some I will use when we visit family for convenience sake.

I want to cd soooooo bad. But I suck at laundry too much and I dont like poop either.

I havent even tried and I had to "let that ship sail."

Ugh. I feel 'ya. I splurged and bought the ABSOLUTE CUTEST cloth nappies for Toren- only to have our washer crap out about a week after he was born! AAARGGH! So it's been 'sposie city for us while we wait for our new washer... : I feel like a BUTTHEAD for not getting a diaper service instead! But darn it...cloth diapers have gotten soooo cute since I last had a wee one...I couldn't help myself!
But dude...there is just NO WAY I'm going to do diapers at a laundromat! :Puke
Call me lazy, but I just can't imagine it...
It's really bumming me out, though! I special ordered some of the most darling AIO's- adorable skull prints in black and red...and these tiny superman AIO/pocket's that are just to die for- and they will not fit him much longer- if they still do at all...
Oh well. I second the 'do the best you can' mantra. That's a good one!

I have the CD love, but not the full-time CD love Olivia's stash sees decent use during the day, but at night and when we go out, it's sposies all the way!

Nah, I haven't even looked at the cloth diapers yet.

I spent all day out shopping for more small covers, and instead after 3 superstores, I broke down and got some disposables instead. I have so many kids laundry never ever ever ends anyways, so I really don't notice anything different. Actually, it's a bit of a vacation because I run it through 2-3 cycles so my dryer actually gets a break for an hour or so. now i need to search for inexpensive pull-up diaper covers.

we do this too - if we're going out for more than an hour or so, both kiddies get disposable diaps!

I got some inexpensive Snap-EZ ones for ds that seem to work really well.
