whatever someone else has made or I can grab quickly/easily. I feel like I'm existing on practically nothing.

maybe that's why I'm back in pre-pregnancy jeans that didn't fit just 3 days ago?

I am eating a lot of sandwiches (ham, cheese, & avocado), and then dinners are the stuff I had in the freezer, thank god I made a ton of them! It's mostly chicken dishes or sometimes I do things in the crockpot.

Somehow fruit and veggies are just not making it into my mouth. Seems strange since fruit would be really easy but I just don't want it.

cereal, bagels, PB sandwiches, maybe one piece of fruit a day. thank goodness i still have a freezer full of dinners or i'd be eating popcorn for dinner...

Gallons of water, oatmeal, cereal, PB&J, beef jerky, almonds, pumpkin seeds and baby carrots. And 100-clorie packs of Reeses, Twix and Entemann's brownies

Elimination diet. So-corn flakes, rice milk, turkey, rice, and grape juice. I'm hungry.

If I didn't already like you so much, I'd have to hate you for that.
I just stepped on the scale for the first time yesterday. I weigh a lot less than my pregnancy weight, but about as much as I did after backpacking through Italy.
I keep on telling myself that I am not concerned about it. Nope, no sir, not me. I just had a baby and I am healthy and providing quality nourishment for my son. My ass is just fine the way it is, considering I gave birth two weeks ago. Yep, that's right. Nothin' to see here.
God, I want my old jeans back so bad. My gym membership kicks in next month.

One night I had to feed the kids bread for dinner. White bread. Regular packaged kind. (Because the baby was crying and everyone was going nuts out of hunger and thats all I could "throw down")

Anyways, the good thing is that dh came home about an hour later (at 7:00 which is pretty late for us to eat but whatever) and he helped me to make the french toast I had been trying to make for 3 hours.

(Oh thats where the bread came from!!! )

I am trying to get as much protein as possible. We eat alot of cheese. Scrambled eggs, I try to give the kids raw veggies to eat. (And sometimes they eat them and sometimes they throw them on the floor. LOL)

PB&J's for the kids. Cheese for me.

Awww! I'll bet you are hungry! There is like NO protein or fiber in there! Can you eat any veggies? Or beans?

Whatever my husband feeds me. And bacon. Lots and lots of bacon. I'm starting to gross myself out.

Sometimes I'll remember about fruit. Everything we bring home seems to be going bad though...

I seem to have forgotten how to feed myself. I guess the addition of a fourth child was the straw that broke the camels back. Apparently, I only have the capacity to keep 4 people fed at a time. If James doesn't feed me- by the end of the day I'm a wreck! :
So how come the scale isn't reflecting this???? :
He's an AWESOME cook, though... : I'm really lucky there! He makes me a gourmet style salad almost every day, which is good cause that's all I'm craving right now. He puts protein in there, thankfully, or I'd probably waste away. He's also making sure I get lot's of Mamas Tea and oatmeal for boobie milk, and he even made me some lactation cookies from the recipe posted here a ways back! (They were soooooo yummy! )
Oh. Maybe THAT's why the scale hasn't been friendly...

We have the Post-partum help cooking for us, so we're eating really well... almost too well! But they go home monday and after that it's going to be peanut butter, apples, and whatever is on sale at Trader Joes. I'm really going to miss fresh home-cooked food... even if I'm not really going to miss having extra people in my house.

Well, right now I have to make do with what we have until payday. And I'm running out! I added some stuff back in just so I won't starve until tuesday. But most important was to cut out dairy and wheat. I doubt wheat is anissue, but the symptoms are similar to the dairy allergy. Please god let it not be wheat! dd#2 had a dairy allergy, so at least I know what to do about that! NAK
