Need some help - Putting rubber treads on AFO's

I have a sweet 3 year old girl who has Cerebral Palsy. She wears AFOs.

This is what they look like

I want to put some treads on the bottom of her AFO's because right now the bottoms are flat plastic.

She loves to go around the house without shoes on sometimes, and I want to give her the chance to do that without having her take off her AFOs. She likes them on her and tells me it feels good to have them on.

I have looked around online and cannot find much.

One idea I have is if putting treads on them myself does not work is to make some men's tube socks into slipper socks and put those over the AFOs. But again, where do I find the rubber treads?

I would love some suggestions and ideas!

Thanks!

It might be hard to get them in her shoes if they had rubber attached. So how about something removable? You could use that stuff that goes under rugs.Maybe just cut out the shape of the bottom of the AFO and the use sticky velcro to keep it on.Or attach it to socks and put the socks over the AFOs if that doesn't bother her?

I know when I have made slippers I have used puff paint or rubber cement on the bottom, you might want to try something like that
