Lactivist outreach to mom to be of triplets

A friend of mine told me that she has a friend who is expecting triplets. She mentioned that the friend is freaking out about lots of things, including breastfeeding.
I told my friend I would get some things together for her to give to her friend. Luckily, I have a copy of an old New Beginnings (nov/dec 2006) about breastfeeding triplets. I swear I saw a really great story sometime (maybe in mothering) of a woman who successfully breastfed triplets without supplementing (I believe).
Any other good resources out there.
I was thinking of extending an invite to my LLL meeting as well, but I might not be able to go for a while because of other committments.

I believe the magazine Preemie had an article on it as well, I read it while at the Ronald McDonald House, and I know that's one magazine that there are always tons of copies of...

Oh! And there was also a Bringing Home Baby episode where the mom had triplets and she pumped sooo much milk they had to borrow an extra freezer and put it in the garage. Watching them load it up with EBM was a great visual I believe they started supplementing once day when the babies were older and the mom went back to work, because she wasn't pumping enough for 3 at that point. But it was a very positive thing, she wasn't all stressed and frazzled about breastfeeding, it was just normal. Of course I don't know how you would get a copy of that one episode.

My Aunt had triplets back in... 1984 or so? They were small and came early (37 weeks, if I remember correctly) and spent a considerable time in the NICU. My Aunt breastfed them all, supplementing occasionally for the sake of her sanity, until they were 6 months old, at which time she was totally exhausted and quit. But she never mentioned any problems with her milk supply- just her energy level! I hope this is a hopeful story for your friend's friend.

Our old pediatrician had triplets, and at one point pumped 64oz a day!!!! Her breasts can do it!

One of our Mothering Momma's had triplets and I believe that she nursed them (I think she also had to supplement too), but you may want to see if she has any resources for you. I believe her user name is Kathryn.

I make over 60 ounces a day for my singleton after breast reduction surgery (SHe has malabsorption issues, so she needs A LOT of milk to maintain...most singletons don't need 60+ ounces). And I used to pump 15 ounces aday on top of that. So I made 75 ounces a day post BR surgery...Send her to LLL. I should be there unless KY's g-tube is put in this month...ANd I'll still attend post g-tube even if I'm not nursing. I'm happy to talk to her =)
