What should I store my homemade body butter in?

So I'd like to keep plain coconut oil in the bathroom in a smaller container (esp. since I just got my 5lb container of it as well as some body butter that is just evco mixed with jojoba and EOs and shea butter.

I'm ordering some 8oz containers for them from frontier and am wondering if I should get a metal tin, double-walled plastic, glass, or amber container. I'm assuming metal is fine (like with the funk butter), but it looked like the amber and plastic were listed under 'cosmetics and salves' and I was wondering if there was something to them that was better for cosmetics.

Anyone know?

If your just storing it for yourself I would just use canning jars. They have an air tight seal and I always seem to have some lying around.
