Yes. I have this bizarre, rank post partum odor. It smells familiar, so I think the same thing happened after dd was born. So weird. I wonder what causes such a distinct smell? I've never smelled it any other time, and I'm usually not a very pungent person!
None of my deodorants have been working. I finally found the Adidas Cotton Tech deodorant I've wanted to try. And it works! I (think) I've smelled pretty good the past week. Or...at least I've been less stinky! Maybe its just that any improvement is better than the stench I've lived with the past 10 months?

I have no idea what causes it but maybe it's nature's way of marking our teritory so to speak, our babies get to get high doses of our smell so they know who mama is and maybe a little rubs off so that we can sniff out our baby. I probably sound like a loon but it's a thought...

Hey, the pheromone argument makes sense. I read about a study showing that a huge percentage of new mothers could correctly identify their baby by smell within a day or two of birth. And maybe our stinky armpits (btw, I totally noticed this as well) smell good to our babies.
This vaguely reminds me of the smelly t-shirt experiment .

Yes, me!
And where did you find this deodorant? Is that the one without aluminum?
Me too! I usually just use the mineral deodorant spray, but it's not working. I'll have to find something scented without aluminum that actually works.
I'm in the same boat, but I'm always in that boat
My right armpits smells like I got sprayed by a male cat, and yet, my new dd rolls right into my armpit at night. I guess it smells like heaven to her
Nothing works either
