When I was making covers for my newborn, I went to the local JoAnne Fabrics and bought whatever 1.5 inch velcro they had on hand -- in fact, I'm pretty sure it was the velcro brand it's self -- for his covers, stitched them up, and called it good.
Fast forward to now, and the Velcro just can't take the heat. It's completely falling off... it's frayed on the edges and pulled away from the stitches, both on the wings and on the front part of the diaper and the covers, while beautiful, are totally unusable because they won't stay fastened.
I need help, stat. Are there other brands of velcro/touchtape/aplix that don't suck and won't fall apart after 2 weeks of use, and if so where can I get them and do they have overnight shipping? Or should I give up and either send them off to be converted to snaps or buy more BSWW? Seriously, with a two week old super-pee-er having 6 store bought covers is just not going to do it for us!
