I Want to Start a Support Group!!

We have many new mommies in our church and I think I want to start a BF support group for them and also invite women in our community. We have NOTHING here unless you have WIC then you can get help from them.
Anyway, I would like to hear ya'lls suggestions
I would like to see a LLL group here, but we will just have to create another type of group for now. There isn't anyone who is qualified to lead a LLL group here.

Share your ideas here! What should our guidlines be? How could we get a lending library started? What are some topics to discuss? I can think of a lot of things, but I'd like to here your ideas as they might fill in some areas I'm not thinking of, Kwim? Have any of you started a group yourselves?

I started one! I started out by starting a Yahoo group and sending invitations to everyone I know who is BFing. Then I applied w/ our church to use their multipurpose room every 2nd Thursday morning. We are super super casual. Almost more of a playgroup. I am trying to get it a little more structured like a LLL meeting. My first topic was NIP and I printed out FL law. But we ended up just hanging out chatting and nursing.

Simonboy'smommy you should consider training as a LLL leader in isolation.

I would like to start training, but if it involves a lot of driving, I can't do that right now because it would cost so much in gas.
How do i go about it? I will look at LLL again on the web. Thanks!
