I have the ovu-tec, which is one of those little microscopes that you put saliva on and then check for ferning which would indicate fertility. I'm using that in conjunction with watching for fertile mucus. I don't want to become pregnant since I already have my hands full with a toddler and an infant. I am confused about what is going on and hope someone here might have some insight into it.
Two months after giving birth, my period returned. It has come every month for the last four months now (despite exclusively breastfeeding
). However, I haven't had any ferning at all on my ovu-tec this whole time. I am wondering how I could have a period if I'm not fertile. Any thoughts on this?
