Daily checkin 01/14

So hows everyone doing today?

DP went to work for the first time today (Oh yes, 6days PP) - but things went really well. For one, I feel really great.
Its crazy - with DS1 I felt like I was hit by a semi postbirth, and with this one - I felt like someone knocked me over on a unicycle. Sore yes, but really not that bad.
Also, DS1 was sweet, didn't get too frustrated with baby.

I even put both DS1 and DS2 down for 'naps' at the same time by tandem nursing (which sucks, btw.)

Its been almost a week (as of tomorrow) and I still haven't written my birth story. I need to.

How are you feeling suzylou?
I'm thinking about you, and hope you're surrounded by patient positive individuals.

Hey Katfka! Glad you're feeling good.

Is suzylou the last December DDC-er left? What about linzogonzerelli? I don't recall seeing a birth announcement from her, but then again I was out of commission for a few days there.

I feel like total crap. DH went to work a bit today (not his first day since baby arrived), and that sucked. I think I may have mastitis. I don't have a fever, but I have every other symptom. I am super engorged too, which also sucks. I am freezing my butt off! :

Ahhhh DH has off the next 3 days, I'm so looking forward to it! I didn't realize how hard it would be with multiple kids! Someone is always needing SOMETHING!

Kat - Wow they both napped at the same time? You rock!

Starry - I thought I had mastitis and it was a plugged duct. I had mastitis twice before so when I felt it I flipped out and started treating. Never got the fever though.

I'm feeling good considering we were all beaten over the head with the flu this weekend. tate feels awful still, my guess is we'll be taking a visit to the doctor tomorrow.

I managed to finish a book and take a shower today. I'm pretty sure I'm done bleeding, just waiting (desperately) for the stitches to go.

DH missed Saturday and has to go in for extra time to make up for it, but he's salary and to top it all off his boss is letting him leave 3 hours early this coming saturday for a party she's throwing. Yeah that makes sense! Time off to help your sick wife, and children NO! Time off to party HECK YEAH!

On a positive note, my kids are beautful, my husband is amazing, and I'm happy.

today sucked, if i may say so. Lili got up kicking my ass and didn't let up all day.

Fisher is SO uncomfortable today! I know he needs to poop or release some air or something, but nothing is working. I keep nursing... it's all I know to do. I hope he calms down, as he has this issue all night last night, too.

I'm finally back from hiding.

We had our baby on the 9th, a little girl named Natalie Marie. Sadly I was induced, but it was a good birth nonetheless...

She weighed in at 8 lbs. 11 oz., is 21" long and has a head full of black hair.

We are all adjusting to our three kid family, so I will post pics sometime later this week (which more than likely means next week at the earliest, LOL!)

Today ad everyday pretty much has sucked. I am soo tired and dd won't sleep, she has reflux I think she just cries and arches her back all night long and most of the day too. If I set her down she will cry. I can't get anything done! My poor 17 month old is being negleted I feel. He has been watching too much noggin!! Sorry to complain!

bah. today is the day i start eliminating dairy. thus, hopefully, Liam will stop projectile vomiting on me.. or at least time it for before my shower versus directly after my shower.
on the up side, after learning how to ruck him in my beyooooootiful pfau didymos, i got two and a half hours of house cleaning done with him snoring away on my back.
I'm irritated with my AF being back already and for some reason, i smell GROSS. what's up with that?
I miss being around grownups.

How do Anna's fingernails get dirt under them? She can't walk, crawl, or roll over, we hardly go outside because the wind chill is -1, heck, she doesn't even know she HAS hands.
