Help! Return of Menses at 10 weeks pp

I have felt like I was going to get my period the last 2 days and today, lo and behold, I started spotting bloody mucous. I am 10 weeks pp. Nursing round the clock. No pacifiers or thumb sucking, cosleeping. I am so frustrated. This is baby number 3 for me. #1 return at 9 months pp, number 2 was more like 11 months. Is it realy possible I am getting my period back??? Is there anything I can do to prevent this? If I get it once, willl I just start up regularly this soon pp? Help, please. I am too overwhelmed to deal with this.

I'm definitely crampy, if that makes a difference. I feel like I just stopped bleeding from the birth 4 weeks ago

Ugh.

help please! I can't believe this is even possible...PP AF after only 10 weeks! I really only stopped bleeding from the birth at 6 full weeks pp. and with my other two kids it was 9 and 11 months! ugh, ugh, ugh. I am so frustrated. and angry to be honest. I hate dealing with my period. Its literally a mess, and I have my hands full right now.

Yeah, it's possible. I have a friend no pacis, no bottles, no thumb, 24 hour nursing, and a period at 6 weeks and one every 30 days after that , but I've also know people to get one period and then stop again for months. Time will tell, but consider yourself fertile for now.

dang. I am actually soooo angry right now. Maybe I should move this to personal growth (j/k) because I think it is probably unhealthy to feel as angry as I do about one's period. I was actually crying earlier.

Yes, it is possible, but it doesn't mean you will be regular. It may go away for months now. I'm sorry you are feeling so down about it. I was pretty upset when I got mine at 3 months pp.

I got mine at 5w pp. I had just stopped bleeding from birth about 5 days earlier. It took me a few months to come to terms with it. The first few times I got it, I was so annoyed that I just refused to be bothered, and acted like a teenager...I would go out without tampons, I didn't buy pads when I should have, etc. I should've expected it, too--I've had mine every 28 days since I was 11yo.

Try to find the most convenient way (for you) to deal with it, even if that means buying a diva cup or something like that.

I had a normal period at about three months PP, and between then and now -- 8 months -- there's been nothing but one round of virtually insignificant spotting. You never know.

to all of the responders, thanks, too, for not posting something about how I need to celebrate my body, etc. I am just so annoyed. I ecologically breastfeed - no sleeping through the night for me or baby, no supplements. I baby wear and cosleep. I don't thinks its 'normal' for a mother who is nursing on cue to get her period back so soon. It makes me want to have a hysterectomy almost. I guess I should consider a diva or something. my irl friend has one and seems to like it. I hate the thought of sticking something inside me though, and thats why I've hesitated. But pads are what make it sooo messy.

Ugh again. Thanks for letting me vent, ladies.
