I really need to vent about this.....

Ack - the third collection agency for the third bill for my in-laws has contacted us! Wow - that was a bad sentence. Well, as PO'd as I am, they probably won't get better. Some of you may remember me griping about a collection agency calling me for my in-laws. Well, now they're calling MY parents! Plus, we get a letter from yet another collection agency about yet another bill! The really sad thing is that these aren't really outrageous bills that I know my in-laws could pay or at least pay down, but instead they're hiding from these agencies and they're harassing us because dh and fil have the same name. Grrrrr..... Sorry - this is just a useless vent. I just needed to get it off my chest.

Can you ask to speak to a supervisor next time, and tell them to stop harassing you?

Send them all letters via certified mail with return receipt (it's not cheap, BUT it'll ensure that they did in fact receive your letters should you need to pursue it further) telling them to stop calling you. By law, they have to do so. Have your parents do the same. If they call you after they have received your letter, you can sue them.
