I have been making some pillowcase dresses for my 4mth old to wear next summer...so they too big for her now, but should fit fine next summer with some growing room left for longer wear time. Well, I had a thought as I made the last pillowcase dress and decided to sew the quilt squares together I had and make a dress like a pillowcase would turn out but in a patchwork rag style. I love the ribbon, it is double ruffle satin in pale pink. I am not an expert sewer but I have been sewing for years on and off but can sew from my head easier and faster than from a pattern.

and the one that will be wearing it...my little princess I just have to share that she for some reason is fascinated with watching Cops on tv (must be in the breed, DH loves watching Cops every night lol) Dh says she will need to wear dresses a lot if she doesn't get some hair people will mistake her for a boy.
