Wool Crepe and prewashing

How many times do I need to prewash and dry wool crepe before I can consider it "washable" and not going to shrink any more? If anyone knows please let me know

I do all my wool 2-3 times before I consider it done, crepe woo is no exeption. I know some just do it once, but I like to make sure. BTW, back when we cloth diapered, 2 of my favorite wool covers were made of crepe wool. VERY trim even doubled up, and very soft.
