Getting ink out--HELP!!!

Oh gack--I went to take a load of laundry out of the dryer and there was ink EVERYWHERE! Seems my husband had a pen in his work pants and it exploded in the dryer. So needless to say the whole load is spotted, streaked and blobbed with ink--and the inside of my dryer is covered. What do I do? How do I get it out? The load of clothes was darks so some things its harder to see on then others, but even the black stuff you can still see discoloration. And then the dryer--I am scared to put any thing else in it at this point--will the ink reheat and bleed on everything??
Please tell me some one else has done this!!

How do I fix it?

The whole load, ack! What a bummer.

I know that when ds gets ink on the dining table, isopropyl alcohol takes it off... you could give that a try.

i know hair spray takes ink out, but i'm not sure about the whole load and the dryer...its worth a shot i guess.

This really works, but will spread a lot of ink, so be careful or you'll make a bigger mess. (ask me how I know... : )
