Hey TF mamas, hope you can help me out
For a little while now I have been making alternative breads for myself- quinoa and some nut butters is all I have ventured to do so far. I REALLY want to try hemp flour next. Anyone used hemp flour before?
one of my problems is soaking the flour- quinoa. I did it and it turned out awful, not even edible. Needless to say that went into the compost. What in the world did I do wrong? Oh, I need to add that I am dairy intolerant, all of it
So when I soak things it has to be in vinegar or lemon juice.
Another thing, for Christmas the in-laws bought me a bread maker. Is it possible to use the machine with the alternative flours, is it even necessary to use the machine? If not that's OK, I will just use it to make the rest of the family bread.
TIA
