This thread is to share page ideas and photos of what you've done. I know I always feel inspired when I see new ideas or pages that others have done...

SO, I just took a bunch of pictures of pages I've done...can somebody tell me how to share them now?!

I saw a cute idea the other day...

crop several photos to be square, and then lay them out (4 or 6, depending which shape of page you use) and put borders between them and at all the corners so that the page looks like a quilt! (I hope that discription makes sense! I want to do a page like this soon, and I'll post a pic when I do it...)

I had resized them, and they got a little wonky looking, but oh well!!

If you can upload your pics from your computer to Photobucket, or any other hosting site, there should be an image code that you would copy, then paste into the icon above that has the glasses looking thing in it. Good grief, I am so bad at giving directions, maybe someone else can help??!!

is there a way to upload a photo directly? or only through photobucket or snapfish or somebody?
Are those sites free? I don't have an account with any of them, and I don't want to pay for one...

tia!

No, you cannot upload them from here, you have to have a hosting site. And yes, Photobucket is free, not sure about the others. I would imagine they are!

1--if you can see these without having to sign in (like photobucket allows) I used flickr because I realized i already had an account there (used to print my digitals through yahoo photos, which became flickr) but i'll upload to photobucket if you can't see these ones.
2--if you can see my other photos by linking when viewing one of these

thanks! (and enjoy!)

Great pages!!! I loved the dog one! I still haven't done a page in the girls' album for their dog. I couldn't see the first page, it wanted me to sign in, but the other two I could see!

I'm looking at Amanda's scrapbooks right now. Wow!

I'm just getting started but I'll try to upload photos sometime soon.

I'm working on the planning stages for a bunch of different scrapbooks.

I got all of my mom's photos and I'm going to help her do one for each of my brothers and me (so four total there.)

I'm also working on one for my mom's best friend who is losing her husband to cancer. They've been friends of my parents for 35 years and I want to do something special for her.

Then I have our scrapbook from the time we met until we married, one of the boys' first years for Marc and I to keep, and one for each of them that I plan to give them at some point in the future (as a wedding gift?)

I'm still in the planning stages for most of them (and scanning old photos which takes forever!) I can't wait to really get into the creative parts.

What I found really helpful is to buy a scrapbook magazine or two... They are expensive but FILLED with layouts and I have a few old issues from several years ago that I still look at for ideas.

Nice layouts!

Amanda, I really enjoyed peeking at your layouts. So cute. I loved the one of your son at 3 months. :-)
I think your son might be right around my son's age--he looked pretty close to newborn in the one dated in November 2006. :-)
One of these days I will post some pages.
I couldn't get some of the other girls links to work, but would love to see those also.
I agree with you on the scrapbooking magazines. They are just fun to look at! I look at them over and over again. Memory Makers is nice. I read Creating Keepsakes as well but they are sometimes a bit busy for my taste. Still, always fun to look at.
