LOL

I needed to get a gift for a little girls first birthday from church. I had forgotten and just knew I would end up at wally world or something before going. LOL

So I got in my new babys closet and found an outfit I got cheap still with tags tha I got way too big by accident months ago. Size 12-18. So I wraped it up with handmade scrapbooking paper and put string on it, and let my DD put stickers on it.

The mama loved it and I spend nothing and it took 10 minutes. I felt odd gifting something I owned, even with tags, but fast got over it. hehehehehe

Now I am thinking it might be smart to have a gifting fund in my budget and shop sales to put in a gift box here so I do not have to do the last minute crazy shopping and spending I normally do.

Thank you mamas! hehehehe For making me more thrifty and challenging my comfort zones.

Blessings,
Kimmy

I could care less about what Oprah says though I wouldnt mind getting one her regifts.

But I keep a stash of odds n ends esp for bday gifts for kids. I bought a stash of Family Pasttimes in the last coop and use those as gifts. Very well received.
I am also going to order a bunch of books from the book club for extra books later on during the summer I can give out every other week or something.

Please! You did spend money on the gift, You just didn't realize it was a gift at the time.
