OK, all this talk of freaking out at the doctors about having hairy legs reminds me of a situation I encounter...ONCE!
I have never worried about my hairiness for any OB/GYN appointments. I mean I was young and hairy and proud of it. I have had several OB/GYNs because I have moved a few times, not liked some, and a couple of the places I went to were groups. Any who...
A couple of visits back I went in for my yearly. I have found one who I ABSOLUTELY love (good thing as this year I get the ol' finger treatment
. Well, a couple of nights before my dh and I had engaged in a bit fun and wonderfulness (if you get my drift)...and I had gotten a wild hair (hehehe) up my
and decided to shave the Nether Regions not realizing that in a couple of days I would be on the table spread eagle.
I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO embarrassed, especially since everything else was still so hairy, it just really seemed so very wrong. So I actually talked to her about it. Why I felt compelled, I cannot say. So anyway, she was awesome about the whole thing, and said I'd be surprised by some of the stuff she sees and NOTHING phases her. And she was thrilled to know I have such a happy sex life.
So, too make a very long story short, according to my OB/GYN...they are not concerned nor judgmental about one's hairiness...nor lack there of.
