Great Sale on C & C Thread thru 2/28

A mail order company called GVS that serves the Plain folk are having a fabulous sale on Coats & Clark thread thru Feb. 28th.

They have 135 yard spools of all purpose dual duty cotton/poly thread for 79cents each (larger discounts for larger purchases), 200 yard spools of rayon thread for $1.35, and 300 yard spools of 100% cotton thread for $1.39. There are other options as well - I just don't want to take the time to type it all out!

They are phone and mail order only. You can request a catalog by calling 1-800-398-2494 or writing to them at GVS, P.O. Box 310, Versailles, MO 65084.

Joann's regularly has 50% thread sales, which is when I stock up on Guterman. I am now trying to find a good place to get Mettler cones for my serger at a good price.

That's what I do. Some folks claim C&C is very linty...I've never been bothered by it, but I do prefer Mettler and if I can't get that Gutterman. My JA's doesn't carry mettler but Hancocks does.

Yeah, this sale is only on the Coats & Clark's thread, but the prices beat JoAnn's 1/2 off on C & C.

Unfortunately GVS doesn't stock any other brands.
