black spotting (may be TMI)

Is this normal?

for the past few days i have had black or nearly black spotting, I have had it in the past, but never really did anything other than mark it on my chart. It seems to be every other cycle, and accompanied by severe cramps, (but not this time). also I have started to have mid cycle spotting not associated with . which i have never had before.

Occasionally i also get this stabbing pain in my left ovary area, and i seems to be correlating to these cycles with worse cramps and this weird pain.

I have heard of women who cramp when they ovulate. Kinda like the body pushing the egg out of the ovary but I don't know anything about that for sure. Don't know what the spotting is. Have you seen anyone about it?

Some women have stabbing pain and spotting when they ovulate. It doesn't have to happen every cycle either. I think one term for it is mitelschmirtz or how ever you spell it...

Also it's possible for ectopic pregnancy to stop on it's own and re-absorb without intervention... perhaps you're lucky/un-lucky enough that that's what's happening?? I hope not because you'd be losing a pregnancy, but I also know that the interventions for that SUCK!

I truly hope it's just that mitelschmirtz thing....
I second that seeing someone about it thing too.
