What's your uniform?

So I feel like such a bum. I live in oversized sweats and big ol' stretched out tshirts, with no underwear or bra. When I leave the house I put on jeans and stuff. So I was wondering what everyone else wears to be comfy, and so I don't feel like such a slob!

i'll wear anything that isn't tight!! i have a few maternity shirts that still cover my belly and lots of stretchy pj pants. i've worn scrubs in public, i really don't care anymore! dh's shirts are looking more and more appealing. i've got comfy (no wire, no padding...$12 at target) nursing bras that i live in. except to sleep.

pj's

i have some new cute ones though.. I got a $200 belks gift card from my dad for christmas & I went the day after christmas .they had nice flannel pj bottoms for $4 - $5 , so i bought 4 pairs & thicker nice t-shirts to match
& id already gotten 2 sets from target & a bathrobe from my grandma

I even take my kid to school & pick her up wearing pj's & slippers
but i do put on some makeup & brush my hair
we where a little late 1 day last week because of really bad fog & i had to walk in & sign in & walk her to class .. in my pj's. she picked on me about that

I work a few hours a night mon -thurs though . so i put on jeans or khaki's & a shirt then
but i have worn my slippers to work a few times the last couple of weeks.. (i do nursery care at the Ymca)

If I'm at home, it's sweats and an oversized t-shirt. So you are not alone!

If I'm going out, I tend to keep wearing either maternity jeans and a t-shirt (except I'm carrying so low that those maternity jeans are worthless) or a maternity skirt and tank top (which was my uniform during my last pregnancy.) My NP always knew it was me in the office, even from the back, during my last pregnancy, because I wore this same maternity skirt at practically every visit.

These particular sweatpants have been my best friend through three pregnancies. They are perfectly broken in, though I do think it's time for a new pair! (They get washed 4-5 times a week, and worn practically every day. I'm surprised they are still in one piece!)

If I'm at home, the big baggy dress in the bump picture on the blog with a t-shirt underneath. If I'm out, a friend lent me a pair of maternity trousers that are huge, and big, and wonderful. (she lent me several pairs, actually, but these are the only ones left that fit.)

It's getting sad, the things that cover my belly completely are shapeless and way casual. All of my cute maternity tops barely cover me anymore and if I do wear them I'm constantly pulling at my clothes to make sure everything is covered. It's been COLD lately and my coat is a joke, I can only button one button now. I caught sight of myself tonight leaving my prenatal water class with my scarf over my wet hair and my big old coat and I looked like a dowdy babushka.

Around the house I hate wearing a bra or anything restrictive. I love to wear a long loose skirt with thick loose socks or slippers, and a loose long sleeved t-shirt. Sometimes pajama pants and DH's fleece shirts too.

I'm in jeans and a long-sleeved t-shirt every day. I live in hawaii, but I outgrew all my medium shorts and tank tops. I would buy new maternity clothes, but what's the point? I'd rather save my money for comfy yoga pants and nursing tops.

My maternity wardrobe consists of two straight skirts, one navy and one black. The navy one has a matching jacket that I wear with the skirt to dress up. Then I have 4 maternity shirts: one white button up shirt, one navy and light blue plaid button up, one 3/4-length sleeve polo shirt in light blue with navy stripes, and one chambray button up with decorative ribbon on the cuffs. I am so sick of these clothes, but at least it all matches each other.

Most people talk about how they have grown out of their maternity things by the end of the pregnancy, but I have almost the opposite issue. When I bought my maternity wardrobe (2 pregnancies ago), I had no idea how big I'd get or if I'd gain weight by the next time I got pregnant, so I bought everything a size too big. My clothes are all quite loose on me now, and earlier in the pregnancy, the skirts were practically falling off (despite the fact that could not fit into my regular clothes).

I have three maternity skirts that fit well, but I save one for Shabbot so I use the two. I also have a couple of other skirts I can wear under the bump. My mom got me some long sleeve tshirts at target and those basically still fit (only the XL & XXL, the L don't cover the bump). I have two lands end fleeces that I bought last year I wear all the time. They actually aren't maternity but they are XL and they still actually close. I love my lands end fleeces!

I have two pairs of maternity sweatpants with no dreadful elastic, one olive green and one black. The tags say Old Navy, and you will see them in all of my belly pictures from now on :P. I have two hoodies that are actually my husband's. This plus Motherhood Maternity bikini briefs is the at-home uniform.

For the outside world, I have four pairs of jeans, two full belly pocket, one half, and one super cute under the belly embroidered with flowers (for fancy dress). Also a pair of velvety black pants. I have three ribbed sweater-like shirts, only one of which is long enough to actually cover the mighty belly. There are two tunics. I also have one red shirt that was embroidered with sparkly thread, for fancy dress.

I only bought the underpants, two of the jeans and one of the shirts; the rest of the gear came from the ancestral maternity clothes box. I have no idea whose it was originally, it's just this box that makes the rounds of my friends. Whoever is pregnant gets it - I think I'm the sixth one? The box is magic, because all of us are really different sizes but everything always fits

I would be very happy if I could wear my most comfy maternity pants and a camisole with built-in bra every day. Working from home this week has been great - 'cause I've been dressed totally comfy. But going into the office requires vaguely more attention, and usually finds me in maternity jeans and a maternity top - most still seem to fit, thankfully!

Oh - and indispensable for winter in VT? Knee socks! Double bonus of feeling good circulation-wise and keeping the legs warm since maternity long underwear are nearly impossible to find!

Sounds funny but right now I am LIVING in a pair of black polyester/spandex dress pants and a super soft gray cotton long sleeved shirt. The dress pants are so stretchy and silky and the ls shirt is one of those vintage-wash types that feel like it has been washed a million times. The shirt isn't a maternity shirt so it's form fitting and I don't feel like I am wearing a tent. I love it so much I told dh the other day that I swear I will wear it every single day from now until the baby is born.

At home: a fleece bathrobe or (more and more frequently) a blanket and a closed bedroom door.

At work: I have two men's XXL T shirts from the thrift store that are still comfortable and still cover my belly, one pair of maternity jeans that still fits, and another that I can just barely stand when the first pair is in the wash.

I was uncharacteristically vain during the first and second trimesters and got myself a ton of cute, fashionable maternity clothes which no longer fit, but that's okay because I am so over cute and fashionable that it isn't funny.

That's normal for me. In prevous pregnancies, it was two muumuus that exy bought for me, one of which I remain unconvinced that it wasn't really a nightgown even though I did wear it to go to the store anyway.

Just black pj pants and a shirt LOL I have 2 pair of blue jeans but they just agrivate me bc I am constantly having to pull them up.

I am really feeling great this pregnancy because by this point with the other two, I wasn't fitting into any of my maternity clothes anymore. With this one, I don't think I've put on weight anywhere but my belly, so it all still fits great. I'm even still wearing pre-preg. underwear this time! That is definately a first for me!

But I still have my favorite pair of maternity jeans that I wear almost everyday! I layer long sleeves and tees a lot, and sometimes wear skirts with maternity tights when I feel like looking cute.

Whoot whoot for the pajama pants. I wear my husbands right now and he is about 3 times the size of the normal me so they are really nice and comfy. I wear them every single day with his t-shirts and I went out and bought 2 really big sweat shirts I wear every single day. On a bad day you can catch me out at the grocery store wearing pj's and a sweat shirt or else my husbands jeans and my sweat shirt. Every slight now and then I will actually put on my maternity cloths. I have some really really nice ones but I never feel like doing my hair or makeup so I rarely wear them.

I wear whatever is XL and clean.

My grandma got me some oh so soft terry cloth PJs so I usually wear the bottoms and a t-shirt when at home. The thing I think I hate the worst lately about work is having to dress up- I don't think any almost 9 months pregnant woman should ever have to dress up and wear any shoes other than houseshoes! It sucks!

Thank goodness I can wear jeans to work.. jeans and a black v-neck. Easy, comfy, and not memorable, so i can wear it all the time!

At home: either a huge sleeveless nightgown or a black pair of yoga pants and a huge t-shirt. No bra. I can't stand anything remotely tight anywhere right now. And I'm so HOT all the time!

When out: I grudgingly wear maternity jeans and a nice top. I'm pretty sure that soon though my at-home wear will be the same as my when-out wear. I just want to be comfy.

I can barely wear anything! Fortunately I'm running hotter than usual so I can get away with my husbands boxers and one of his t-shirts. I'm under 5 feet tall and he's 6 feet tall so it's pretty hilarious! But this baby just sticks way out there. Oh, and my butt has grown enough to make all my maternity pants pretty much unbearable to wear. I need suspenders!
