4 Mo. Old DD Has Lump in Breasts~Normal??

Today, while picking up our 4 mo. old dd, I noticed that she had a lump directly in the middle of one breast. At first I thought it was an enlarged lymph node, but her other breast has this too. Is this normal for girls? Does it have to do with my hormones and breastmilk? What is it?

my 1-month old daughter has lumps too, right under her nipples -- i asked ped, she said it was normal, a hormonal thing...

I am so glad that I saw this post! My DD 5 months has it too. I found it at 4 months and DP told me not to freak out about it- but everytime I pick her up I worry about it. SHE IS NORMAL!!!!!

my ds had them too....it's definitely hormonal!

Yep- Rainey didnt have them when she was a newborn- I just noticed them at 4 months. Her left one is bigger and i am thinking it could be because she is definatly a leftie!
