Azeda Peace Juniper was born at 5:08 1/17/08. She weighs 7 lbs and 15 oz.
I woke up at 2:00 a.m. feeling waves but wasn't quite sure at the time. I felt awesome like I had tons of energy I did the dishes cleaned the living and then realized I couldn't do anything anymore but lean over the sink and rock back and forth. This was around 3 I started timing my waves and they were about 4 mins. apart. I went and got Dh up he started the pool we came downstairs and he rubbed my back through each wave. At this point the pool was halfway full and I wanted to get in I climbed in had one wave and was out of the pool no faster than you could say baby....I had to be standing holding onto something..So back downstairs we went I leaned over the toilet and held onto he seat through each wave..My midwife showed up at 4:40 a.m. I went upstairs to the bathroom where it was warmer and I started to fee pushy my legs were shaking then my water broke and the baby's head dropped and she came out in 2 pushes at 5:08 a.m.
She let out a great cry and then started making these beautiful little girl sqeaky noises...she nursed for 2 hours after I got into bed...
