Our long awaited son, born at 42 weeks, has arrived!
Isha Sparrow was born at home on January 15th at 1pm.
He weighs 8.4 pounds and is 23 inches long.

Birth story coming soon....all I will say now is that we truly experienced an ecstatic birth!!!! We are shocked because the birth of our daughter was violent and devastating.

When it rains it pours! I can't believe how many of us have welcomed our babies into the world in the past few days!

I'm so relieved for you that you had an amazing birth this time! I can't wait to hear the full story. You should totally go update that old thread that you started----I'm sure the women there would love to hear how it went for you!

Gorgeous baby, gorgeous daughter and mama! I'm so glad for you that you had a much better birth this time. Yay!!!! Your first birth story is truly devastating.

I also had a traumatic birth with dd#1 (incl 3rd degree tear) and was terrified of birthing again. I also had a super terrific birth with #2 just days ago. I understand how HEALING that can be and what a HIGH you can get from it! Way to go! : You deserve the healing that comes with it. I'm so glad for you!

that is beautiful that you got to have such an empowering peaceful birth after your traumatic first birth. I can relate.
